Description of the incident Alright, im going to start off this very bluntly. The staff team has a lot of issues upholding the same standards in RP levels. LRP is very different from staff to staff, and people seem to think this is LRP and that other thing isn't LRP.
I am going to use my example. I was banned twice because I made meme announcements over the announcements. First time I did it, it was fair according to the rules (copypasting lasagna recipe over the announcements). The second time, whotever, it was assumed that posting a "hot GF link" over announcements is LRP, when it's highly accpeted on the community that internet links on announcements (like gyazo for images) is a HUD on the screen of the marines, so this would be plausible as a sort of "prank".
Sure, it could still be LRP, but this is where this report's point comes to: There is MULTIPLE well known players also doing LRP stuff. I shall name first the Commanders that would technically violate RP rules:
Windhealer - Rule 2 and Marine RP Standards: Don't get me wrong, Windhealer is a very fun character to play with, but it's also totally unrealistic. There's NO WAY Windhealer would pass OCS with the type of character he is, and he's borderline schizophrenic by treating the USCM as his personal tribe. Seriously, this is not realistic at all.
Bill Carson - Rule 2 and Marine RP Standards: It's impossible that such a grossly incomptent leader would ever be able to reach the ranking of Captain of the Almayer. Unless if Bill Carson made a story where he bribbed USCM to become a Captain or something along of those lines, this is totally unrealistic behaviour.
That's two of the most overboard commanders I can think off. I just woke up and my memory is fuzzy. I'll leave it like this for now and await for staff answers, and for other character examples I can think off.
