There isn't much to say, I failed to follow escalation by setting someone (only an fistfight had occured) on fire after they pursued me with their gun drawn.
It was an slip up by me but ultimately unrelated to the job of Squad Engineer since everyone can get an flamer.

I would say I reread escalation policy but I have been informed by Dorkkeli in PMs that server management refuses to specify it on the rules page other than "A fist fight does not suddenly escalate into a gun fight.".

So all I can say is that I know what my mistake was, im sorry it happened and that I don't plan on repeating it.

Your April notes are a concern, but we also believe they don't quite apply to the squad engineer role in this situation. You've also played a large amount so it makes sense to get a few more notes than normal, though you'll still get in trouble for repeated offenses. As for the escalation rules, if you're not sure about how to react you might take some time to consider possible scenarios and responses in the game and how reasonable it would seem in reality so you're prepared when they happen to you. As you know, setting fire to someone because they punched you once is entirely unreasonable.
