Background

Evie Brown was born in a quiet agriculturally based township just inland of the East Coast. She grew a liking for explosives from watching her dad blow tree stumps on the property. She learnt to shoot at a young age as a requirement of living on a farm where snakes, foxes and rabbits were considered pests.
When Evie was 15, her parents announced to her that they were moving to America. She was told not to question why when she asked, but to pack her most important things. Evie hated this, moving somewhere she had no mates and to a place where everyone would make fun of her and her interests. Her suspicions proved correct from her first day of American schooling, yet she managed to have her first relationship in the opening three months of being 'an American'. The relationship didn't last long, with the guy citing that he couldn't stand her overprotective father. In equal parts spite and curiosity, she agreed to date one of the girls in her small group of friends, a relationship that ended five years later in divorce. This relationship didn't sit wholly right with her father, but he didn't oppose it openly.
When Evie was 18, she was the sole survivor of a traffic incident where a drunk smashed into the side of the parked car. Her mother was killed instantly and her father bled out in the back seat. Evie was just getting in to drive at the time. She suffered broken limbs, ribs and suffered internal bleeding, but no permanent damage was suffered
After a quick recovery, Evie began working to provide for herself. These efforts were supplemented by her girlfriend who she married at 19. One year and one month later, they divorced. Evie was barely breaking even when she turned to the USCM for the second time and was accepted.
