    Still at the mercy of Queen. Cading up and holding works as long as T3s won't come. To the point where the best possible holdout available for survs from all the maps is still a failure. And by that I mean warden's office. As soon as one bolier and one crusher appears, you might as well aim mouth, set "help intent" and click on yourself with loaded gun.

    This problem was caused by fast T3 evolving into already competent units (not young) and boilers working on line of sight, totally bypassing cades.

    The easiest solution that would solve all of those problems is locking T3 evolution till first DS lands + 15-20 seconds. That would also help with beno metarushing T3s to LZ which is already illegal, but not restricted mechanically.
    Then introduce some kind of a buff for benos that works only till first DS lands, like full Frenzy, Warding and Recovery pheromones in caves and hive, or something like that, maybe even in addition some surv nerfs in the same area explained by "fear".
    Thus in those two little changes you will make both surv playstyles viable. Cading and roaming would be good enough, while fairly massive buff for benos in caves/hive before DS lands would prevent survs from killing half of the hive, unless the hive wants to die by suiciding one by one into them as they could simply choose to not leave caves/hive.

    What if we just give survivors a skill that makes them more resistant to neuro, so they don't get stunlocked after the first spit? Tie it to endurance or something.

    sounds good, most marine jobs have pretty low endurance. However this could make survs into gigachads if they actually survive the beno assault.

    Endurance already kinda does that via daze ressistance.

    But you do know why no armor one hit neuro was introduced? Besides those few marines who were constantly running without armor, major reason was... Robust survs running without armor and killing benos via roam.

    So the chain of buffs/nerfs would be:

    > Endurance gets introduced to help survivors with (among other things) neuro.
    > One hit neuro without any armor gets introduced, because no-armor survivors and marines are too powerfull.
    > Survs get something on top of Endurance to help them with neuro.

    Back and forth.

    Something on top of that tied to Endurance will buff marines aswell, since everyone but PFCs, medics and engineers have Endurance above "base" which is 1.

    News Regarding Sentinel Neuro:

    1. I raised the issue with a dev regarding neuro unarmored-knockdown bypassing endurance skill. They said after an upcoming update (can't remember if medical or techweb), they would "add a check for it." I presume this means unarmored-knockdown won't affect humans with high enough endurance (so yay).

    2. Apparently there is a bug where neuro levels don't decrease at an increased rate for humans with a high endurance skill. Hopefully this gets fixed so the slowdown doesn't last as long as it currently does.

    sentinel neuro shouldnt even affect survivors

    the feature was added because a robusto went without armor or uniform and killed xenos even with odds all agaisnt him.

    but hey, no one cares about survs to begin with lol

    Most* survivor nerfs are usually because 1 or 2 robustos go and wipe the hive using some niche/hard to pull off tactic or by just taking a 1% chance to do it. It's an absolute joke lol.

    since everything survivors use are marine related, any marine nerf will affect survivors no matter what. For those expecting a 'fix' for survivors I'll just say that dev team doesnt care about your complaints, they wont waste their time on a niche role like survivor.

    survivors exist for xenos to play around with while waiting for marines.
