Yeah having some control over what the ASRS system gives out would be nice. Being able to adjust supplies to the situation instead of just hoping you get the luck of the draw would help. And if your doing well, you can try to invest into a "Special" tab that gives a random chance of giving a very valuable crate, like HPR's / tac shotguns / incendiary slugs or magazines / specialist kits, maybe even a crate filled with manuals that teaches anyone who reads it a skill (Engi book, Construction book, Medical book, maybe even Firearm books?), which gives more marines a use during the game besides unga dunga me shoot gun; it might even be a good way to replace the losses of Engineers / Medics throughout the round by giving people a minimal amount of training that they can do in return for not getting other requisition supplies.
It'd become a balancing game of investment of returns; do I choose Defence / Offense supplies to keep the fight equal or do I take a risk and invest in Special crates to make the marines overrall better at the risk of less supplies that might lead to a wipe? Etc.
The mr with the update is already waiting.
It does the following:
Cuts crates:
All crates with just loose grenades. Those in boxes still spawn.
All pistol ammo. (Except for the overflow crates.)
Smartgun crate.
I raises the points per crate.
It reduces the total crate amount.
Chances for crates are adjusted:
30% chance for defence
20% chance for munitions
25% chance for offence
15% chance for utility
10% chance for total random.
