That last part there is a bold faced lie, Erich was standing next to us the whole time, and I'm reasonably certain he saw everything and just wanted an excuse to kill us.

The drone that had been killed earlier died like ten minutes ago.

I was observing that incident with the PMC getting crabbed, and I'm pretty sure the drone was taking it to the medbay, though we would need confirmation from the drone themself.
