    Yeah, Tank is very fun to play, it's a cool toy for the Marines and driving/gunnering it is a blast. But I was hoping it would be capped at higer pops at least, I haven't play benos for a loooong time but I don't see how it's fun to play against it, higher pops makes aliums easier to fight other it's a literal stomp.
    Some rebalance is ncecessary bcecause there's a very meta build (Minigun+Flamer+Con/Bal), no reason to take other parts.

    Thirdly, change the Tanks name to "IFV", because that ain't a tank.

    Fourthly, add a labeler to the Tank bay so we can put more meme names on the Tanks.

    while i love tank for the ability to have a buddy cop round (some of the best rounds ive had RP wise have been me and one other person either learning the ropes or roaming around the map doing fuck all but having a good time with bants) which they tend to do better than PO, it does kinda fuck the meta hard and you can either have it go alone and get surrounded or have it supported by infantry but not able to really maneuver or use AOE without hitting marines which makes it pointless to be called a tank.

    I'd say remove it or give us mechs, or the chad APC that cryo marines can spawn from like the sunderer from planetside 2

    I say we just accelerate the hate for the tank. I wanna see round-start LTBs. I wanna see the tank gib people when they get run over, like before. I wanna see queen and crusher immunity removed. Implement it and scrap the tank for something cooler like dropship fast roping or an APC.

    get this fucking METAL BAWX out of here, it just slows down the game and it adds absolutely nothing possitive to the rounds except for the 2 ppl driving it.

    I see the tank more of a tool to break stalemates, hold a frontline or simply spearhead a general push. Almost all the tanks use the Overdrive module, and the tank doesn't slow the game down at all. Just because you've been delegated to Tank Escort duty and you can't rush to the hive in 5 minutes doesn't mean that it's a bad thing.

    Does the tank have issues right now? Absolutely, and it should be reworked. It's not fun to play against it as Xeno, at all.
    Should it be removed? Not at all.

    Imagine how rounds will go without the tank. Either the marine metarush wins the round in 30 minutes, or it fails. In the latter case, either the round becomes a stomp for Xenos, or it devolves into a 3-hour long trench-warfare mega-FOB defense. Without the tank, the retreating marines would have no support since no one bothers to build frontline barricades anymore, and you won't have a tool to break the 3-hour stalemate.

Like you said it protects shattered retreats when those should be getting slaughtered. It can completely block entire flanks on maps like prison just by sitting in a hallway doing nothing. It makes assault FOB harder because it can just sit back shooting and xenos cant even get to it. It literally causes more stalemates than it stops.

    You're right. That's why it should get a rework; maybe, buff Railgun damage against it, or make certain types of armor weak to several damage types. It makes no sense for a hyper-concentrated glob of acid travelling at RPG velocities to deal only 6% damage to a non-caustic armor tank.

    Plus, it should receive a nerf to slash damage. It makes no sense for the Queen to have to slash the tank for 5 minutes to get the armor down to 0%, when a creature as big as a building could simply flip the tank, or rip it's turret out effortlessly.

    from what I understand the problem with slashing the tank is that a slash is a slash, it doesn't matter which caste is doing the slashing. So runners are the best at attacking a tank because they slash the fastest. Queen should rip a tank to shreds but she doesn't.

    These are both IFVs, not pure APCs. Actual APCs only have enough weaponry for self-defence.

    Following up on this, my two cents on the possible APC addition are to keep it simple. APC's design would be based off the extremely simple and iconic M113.

    It would be significantly faster and significantly more fragile than the Longstreet, its dimensions would be 2x2 and it would only have the identical choice of the tank's secondary weapons. In lieu of this significant decrease im firepower and armor, it would have the weapon's arc increased to 270, even maybe 360 degrees, alongside a special feature of having two pairs of "cover flaps" installed on the vehicle's sides, that would raise and retract at will. These "flaps" are essentially plasteel barricades, and their purpose is to help obstruct aliens from easily swarming around the APC and kill the marines as they exit through the ramp on the back.

    IMO, the vehicle should be a substitute for the tank on certain maps where the tank is the least useful due to the maps' size and/or confines.

    tank was a big mistake


    theres a good chance now to add some non armed transport vehicules, something more than 2 ppl can enjoy
