    Actual cancer feature as both a marine as a Xeno.

    It actually fucks you up even harder if you are trying to escape tight hallways as a xeno versus multiple marines.

    And as a marine, you become 70% useless once a T3 pokes into you.

    MINIMUM, only the Queen should have this feature and that's all.

    For those who don't know what it is, afaik the anti-bodyblock mechanic works when you get nudged by a T3/a T3 is adjacent to you and the game realises. It slows your movement speed down to less than a crawl - we're talking walk intent on resin. Originally, this was put in to stop the 3x3 squares forming around crushers when they'd overextended their charge, so that the crusher had a fair chance of escaping whn *dance was fixed. However, all the other T3s have been gaming it for a good long while because it's a free kill if you just bump a few marines around.

    It's gamey and abused, it needs to go.

    I myself agree that this system sucks.

    it makes meleeing xenos frustrating as hell, since you run the risk of "lagging" while trying to scuffle with them, and if you try to run away, they could bump you and suddenly trigger the "lag" that seals your fate.

    It was added in back in the day due to a tactic marines used to trap careless crushers to chop them up into pieces, back when aliens couldn't fight for shit and only spammed huggers all the time. Nowadays, I think most aliens understand how to fight a little better by now...

    And even THEN, why not just give crushers a usable ability similar to the Defender's headbutt to knock marines out of the way? It would be a lot more logical and fair than having the game say "NOPE you too close, gotta lag you up now".

    Makes being a predator even worse, since preds are not immune to this and will get disoriented when fighting several large xenos.

    no wonder I get fucked constantly when a rav push me. Just give the crusher a good Anti feature like someone mentioned earlier.

    It's to stop marines from holding the opposite direction key to the T3 to keep it immobilized in one tile

    Anti body block mechanic just servers to be abused by good xeno, because stupid xeno will still find a way to get body blocked. I, in fact, have used it too, and it's just really dirty bumping into a dude once and make him stuck in his spot for other xeno to gang on the guy

    If you remove it you have to do something for crushers. Im not sure many of you played before this went in but marines would literally take crusher charges on purpose knowing each one slows the crusher down. They would do the successively until the crusher gets stopped then everyone would swarm the crusher and body block them to death. Crushers literally cant do shit without anti body block. This is when crushers were so tanky they could literally deflect AP rounds and they still got body blocked to death constantly.

    Crusher tackle wasn't that bad either back then and they could just do that then skeet away.
