==Overview ==
The Neroid Sector Policing Authority or NSPA, are the premier regional law enforcement in the 3WE space of the Neroid Sector, dedicated to serving and upholding 3WE law. The NSPA has fallen on hard times following the New Earth plague, receiving budget cuts and downsizing due to a lack of interest in the once prosperous Neroid Sector, this has forced them to work more and more with W-Y's Private Security, often with the agreement that the NSPA will handle Non-W-Y Employees while W-Y's Security handles W-Y Employees, an agreement the NSPA isn't too happy with.
The NSPA is lead by a Commissioner, Appointed by the Crown under recommendation from the sector's governor and a review from the 3WE Territorial Constabulary, The central coordinating law enforcement agency for the 3WE, they are in charge of reviewing the conduct and performance of the NSPA as a whole, the Commissioner also appoints the NSPA Chief for each colony, depending on the colonies size the rank of the Chief changes, smaller colonies often have their highest ranking officers be a Chief Inspector along with an Inspector, while larger colonies usually have a Commander along with a Chief inspector and multiple Inspectors.

== History ==
The NSPA was established in 2098, after the 3WE saw the need for a wider police force on their colonies in the neroid sector following the growing expansion of New Earth and the Valuable mining operations in the sector, the NSPA was given various duties, including the protection of government officials and Spaceport security along with day to day policing, Following the creation of the CMB and ICC the NSPA established agreements to allow for more cooperation between them, these included allowing the CMB more access in exchange for more patrols to aid the NSPA.

=== New Earth Plague ===
In 2157, an outbreak of a deadly airborne virus occurred on New Earth and spread through out the HD88512 System, Following failed efforts to cure it by W-Y and Bionational scientists, along with USCM CBRN teams, the ICC ordered a quarantine of the system, the plague resulted in the deaths of 40 million people, including most of NSPA command who were stationed there, following this the NSPA was heavily downsized and received multiple budget cuts, this affected the NSPA's ability to police, as now most of their command staff had to be replaced along with the loss of a large amount of their officers.
