The Fireteam Leader (FTL) is a role dedicated to commanding one of the fireteams that make up the squad. The FTL is a Sergeant (SGT) or Corporal (CPL) who is next in line for command of the squad, if there Squad Sergeant is incapacitated or KIA you will be in charge.
