Distinguished Leadership Ribbon		Commanding and Executive Officers	A ribbon given to officers, NCOs, or squad leaders whose coordination, decision-making, or morale-keeping played a critical role in their unit's success or survival.	Sample text.
Technical Proficiency Ribbon		Commanding and Executive Officers	A ribbon awarded for outstanding technical expertise in the field. Engineering, medical, or logistics personnel whose skill or innovation directly contributed to mission success.	Sample text.
		Medals
Purple Heart Medal		Commanding Officers	For acts of courage performed during combat operations. Recognizes marines who display calm, determination, and bravery under fire, contributing to the survival and morale of their squad.	Sample text.
Silver Star Medal		Commanding Officers	Awarded for conspicuous gallantry in action. The Silver Star recognizes those who go beyond the call of duty: charging into danger, holding the line when all seems lost, or saving lives under relentless enemy fire.	Sample text.
Medal of Valor		Commanding Officers	For acts of courage performed during combat operations. Recognizes marines who display calm, determination, and bravery under fire, contributing to the survival and morale of their squad.	Sample text.
Galactic Cross Medal		Commanding Officers	The second highest decoration within the USCM. Granted for acts of valor performed under extreme conditions. When the mission's success or the survival of fellow marines hinged upon extraordinary courage and quick thinking.	Sample text.
Medal of Honor		Commanding Officers and Admin	The highest distinction awarded by the United States Colonial Marine Corps. Bestowed upon those whose actions demonstrate unparalleled bravery, self-sacrifice, and devotion to duty - often in the face of certain death. To wear this medal is to stand among legends of the Corps.	Sample text.

Corporate Service Award		Admin	A small gold corporate badge awarded for notable service in the interests of Weyland-Yutani.	Sample text.
Corporate Medallion		Admin	A large gold corporate badge awarded for notable service in the interests of Weyland-Yutani.	Sample text.

Legacy Medals

These medals have been archived as "legacy medals." These (barring the medal of valor) can no longer be awarded, but they still show in your player stats. The large bronze, silver, and gold medals can still be awarded by admins as generic medals (i.e. Jane Doe was awarded the Gold Medal for placing first in the cookoff) for events and such.

Medal Of Valor		Commanding Officer	A silver medal awarded for acts of exceptional valor. Normally given to those who outstand themselves from the ranks, either it be in Leadership skills or actions crucial to the mission success.	For actions above and beyond the call of duty, and exhibiting exceptional courage, extraordinary decisiveness and presence of mind, or an unusual swiftness of action, regardless of his or her personal safety, in an attempt to save and protect human life against a hostile, boarding alien force. Medal of Distinguished Conduct		Commanding Officer	A bronze medal awarded for distinguished conduct. Whilst a great honor, this is the most basic award given by the USCM.	For distinguished, gallant and good conduct in the field. Issued by Major XX 8/25/2182. Medal of Exceptional Heroism		Commanding Officer	An extremely rare golden medal awarded only by the USCM. To receive such a medal is the highest honor and as such, very few exist.	For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their life above and beyond the call of duty against an opposing force. Normally received for actions that surpass the Call of Duty. Bronze Heart Medal		Commanding Officer	A bronze heart-shaped medal awarded for sacrifice. It is often awarded posthumously or for severe injury in the line of duty.	Awarded for being wounded or killed while serving with the United States Colonial Marines on Solaris Ridge in the name of the U.S President or U.A Security Council on or after April 1st, 2101.
