The Fireteam Leader (FTL) is a role dedicated to commanding one of the two fireteams that make the squad. The FTL is a Sergeant (SGT) or Corporal (CPL) who is second in command of the current squad or a fireteam, if there Squad Sergeant is incapacitated or KIA you will be in command.
