Succession/Chain of Command

This is the list of the order in which command passes due to Death, SSD, Imprisonment, or anything else that makes someone unfit to command.

1. Commander
2. Executive Officer
3. Bridge Officer (If there is more then one, the outgoing acting Commander will pick one or they will discuss among themselves who takes charge)
4. Chief Engineer
5. Requisitions Officer
6. Military Police (If there is more then one, the outgoing acting Commander will pick one or they will discuss among themselves who takes charge)
7. Squad Leader (Starting at Alpha goes through the squads)
8. Cargo/Maint Tech (If there is more then one, the outgoing acting Commander will pick one or they will discuss among themselves who takes charge)
9. Any MILITARY personnel.

Departments and Ranks

These are the departments which make up the USCM.

Title	Rank	Job
COMMAND
Commander	Commander	Command the ship.
Executive Officer	Lieutenant Commander	Assist the Commander in commanding the ship.
Bridge Officer	Lieutenant	Maintain over-watch and direct squads as per the Commanders orders.
Military Police	Staff Sergeant	Enforce Marine Law.
SUPPORT
Chief Engineer	Lieutenant Commander	Provide Power and Atmosphere to the ship. Don't blow up the core.
Requisitions Officer	Ensign	Provide Supplies to the Crew.
Maintenance Technician	Technical Sergeant	Follow the Chief Engineers orders. Don't blow up the core.
Cargo Technician	Sergeant	Follow the Requisitions Officers orders. Provide supplies to the crew.
COMBAT
Squad Leader	Staff Sergeant	Leader your squad to victory. Follow the Commanders orders.
Squad Medic	Sergeant	Keep your squad alive.
Squad Specialist	Corporal	Provide support with your specialized weaponry.
Squad Engineer	Private First Class	Provide engineering support to your squad as needed.
Squad Marine	Private	Try not to die. Follow your Squad Leaders orders..
CIVILIAN
Chief Medical Officer	Civilian	Lead the Medical and Research Department. Keep the marines alive
Doctor	Civilian	Keep the Marines alive and Healthy.
Researcher	Civilian	Use SCIENCE to assist the marines. Try not to blow up the ship.
Corporate Liason	Civilian	Report everything to W-Y command, constantly monitor and scrutinize the commanders actions.
