These shots can pierce most mobs and terrain, but not indestructible colony walls.

This weapon deals greatly increased damage against walls and xeno structures. Resin walls are destroyed in one hit as long as the bullet has not pierced anything before.

Each pierced target reduces its range by at least 4, from the maximum of 32. This is increased to 12 for walls, resin walls, and large mobs, which includes most T3 Xenos and fortified Defenders. This also reduces the bullet's damage by 20%, increased to 60% for the same large targets and walls, and reduces Stopping Power.

Stopping Power: Stopping Power is calculated from the bullet's current damage when hitting a target, which does not take Aimed Shot into account. Full-power hits that have not pierced anything else can interrupt targets, which is reduced by their size, and knockback smaller targets. Lower-damage hits cannot knockback and will only interrupt smaller targets, so you will be unable to interrupt large targets if they have anything in the way.

Interrupting a target may disrupt channeled abilities or drop grabs. Crushers and Queens are immune to being interrupted unless you hit them with an Aimed Shot. Charger Strain Crushers are completely immune to Stopping Power while charging.

Aimed Shot: This weapon has an increased Aimed Shot base channel time of 4.5 seconds instead of the standard 2.5 seconds, and the damage is calculated based on the target's size. Additionally, most targets are affected by the Focus mechanic.

Focus: The first Aimed Shot on a new target is unfocused, and only deals 50% bonus damage. The second consecutive cast deals 75%, and the third deals the full bonus damage. You can only have stacks on a single target at a time, so previous stacks are removed if you successfully land an Aimed Shot on another target. When you are channeling a fully-focused Aimed Shot, your laser and crosshairs will turn blue instead of red. After landing a fully-focused shot, your Focus is reset. Normal hits do not apply or reset stacks.

Small Targets (Runners): (+60% Base Damage) + (10% Current Health). These targets are not affected by the Focus damage reduction, but still remove previous stacks.

Normal Targets (Xenos): (+30% Base Damage) + (10% Current Health) to (+60% Base Damage) + (20% Current Health), based on Focus.

Large Targets (Big Xenos): +15% to +30% Current Health, based on Focus.

Enhanced Stopping Power: Aimed Shots also improve Stopping Power, making non-piercing shots able to interrupt Queens and Crushers, and applying a slow based on it, regardless of any bonus damage from an Aimed Shot. This is no longer than 3 seconds of slow and 1.5s of superslow, reduced down to a maximum of 1s slow and 0.5s superslow against large targets, before reduction by piercing.
