Freelancer Mercenaries are infact guns for hire, which in turn means they aren't exactly willing to give their lives for the USCM unless they get paid. If things aren't already going down the crapper and there aren't xenomorphs trying to rip you to shreds make your way to the Combat Information Center and get paid. If they keep you in the dark with little to know about the threat ask for around 100k, the Merc's Captain decides how the profits are split.

Freelancer Mercenaries are infact guns for hire, which in turn means they aren't exactly willing to give their lives for the USCM unless they get paid. It's recommended to listen to them unless you have a genuine reason to not, recommended to Ahelp if you aren't going to listen to your captain.
