Think of these guys as a downgrade of a HOP if you have recently moved servers with added duties of commanding squads as well as launching supply drops or Orbital bombarding the planet. These guys/girls are the pilots of the Sulaco (sorta) and they are here to maintain the bridge and support marines over the Over Watch consoles (and reassign the marines if needed to).They can use the Over Watch console to oversee a marine squad via messaging them without using their headsets.
