Overview
With the loss of the UA/USCM support in the Tychon's Rift Sector due to the defeat of the dust raiders on Whiskey Outpost in 2181 the Freelancers stepped in to fill the power vacuum that was left behind, the UPP couldn't fill it, as that would be seen as an invasion, and WY didn't care to fill it. The freelancers use a mix of legal and illegally obtained weapons and munitions mainly acquired from the Dust Raider's abandoned bases and equipment stockpiles. They run Irkala Station, which is a space station in the centre of the Tychon's Rift sector which acts as their main trading hub.
