CMRP:Rules

From CM-SS13 - Wiki
Signal Flare.gif This page is part of the CMRP wiki.

CMRP differs from CM in roleplay expectations and gameplay content.

Rule 1. Be Nice

Do not be racist, bigoted, or toxic. Standard hostile roleplay is still fine for in-character interaction, but don't go overboard. In-character racism is still prohibited on this instanced server.

Rule 2. No ERP (Erotic Roleplay) or 18+ Content

This is self-explanatory, and will not be tolerated. Standard euphemisms such as "Suck my dick" are still acceptable.

Rule 3. Play your role

This instance has higher RP standards than CM Distress Signal. We ask that you play your character and role to the best of your abilities. If you are assigned a character, try your best to act like how that character would act. You can still create your own roleplay, and characters will have a name and skill set/profession as a backstory for you to work with. Your roleplay should be based on your assigned skills, and what a normal person could do.

Examples:

  • A chemist would not grab a M41 Pulse Rifle and start charging a xenomorph hive. A chemist however would use the research lab to make chemical weapons and distribute them to their fellow crew members.
  • A Chief MP would do his best to protect others, and not run off to attack xenomorphs as a "one man army."
  • An engineer could booby trap the ship, or create makeshift tools and weapons.

Rule 4. Do not become an Antagonist unless designated as one.

Minor arguments and fist fights are fine if it's properly roleplayed. However do not murder your fellow faction members unless an event staff member has designated you as an antagonist, or the event has been declared as a "free for all" survival situation.

Rule 5. Do not metagame or cheat.

Metagaming, metacommunication, or intentional bug abuse will not be tolerated, and will result in instant removal from the instance.

Rule 6. Whitelist roles and rule sets are designated by event staff.

Whitelist roles when used will have their rule set (Honor code, CO CoC, Synth Programming) designated by an event staff member.
