General Information
The simple Facehugger is the weakest of all Xenomorphs, having 35 HP and slowly losing health while off weeds (except for resting watchers). Their primary function is to infect new hosts with their ambush abilities or work in conjunction with other Xenomorphs. While fast, they are extremely fragile and unable to take more than one or two shots from a marine's rifle.
Facehuggers cannot communicate in the hivemind, and they must be alive for 3 minutes before they can speak or point.
Playing Hugger
Playing a Facehugger is all about ambushing. They can hide under tables and other objects using their hide ability, which can be toggled in the top left, similar to a runner or larva. To infect a marine, be one tile away and pounce. Being any further will simply knock the marine down, which can help other Xenomorphs capture it. Pounce takes 2 seconds to wind up, leaving you vulnerable. Clicking on an adjacent and prone target makes you leap and infect them with only a 1 second windup. This is always faster than pouncing. Upon infecting a host, your facehugger respawn timer will be reset, allowing you to respawn.
