Marine Rank

Succession/Chain of Command

This is the list of the order in which command passes due to Death, SSD, Imprisonment, or anything else that makes someone unfit to command. Note: You do not assume their title or rank, only their responsibilities.

  1. Commander
  2. Executive Officer
  3. Bridge Officer **
  4. Chief Engineer
  5. Requisitions Officer
  6. Military Police **
  7. Squad Leader (Starting at Alpha goes through the squads)
  8. Cargo/Maint Tech **
  9. Any MILITARY personnel.

** If there is more than one, the acting Commander will pick one or they will discuss among themselves who takes charge.

Departments and Ranks

Department Title Rank Job
Command Commander Commander Command the Sulaco and it's Staff.
Command Executive Officer Lieutenant Commander Assist the Commander in commanding the Sulaco.
Command Bridge Officer Lieutenant Maintain overwatch and direct squads as per the Commanders orders.
Support Military Police Staff Sergeant Enforce Marine Law.
Support Chief Engineer Lieutenant Commander Provide Power and Atmosphere to the ship. Don't blow up the core.
Support Maintenance Technician Technical Sergeant Follow the Chief Engineers orders. Don't blow up the core.
Support Requisitions Officer Ensign Provide Supplies to the Crew.
Support Cargo Technician Sergeant Follow the Requisitions Officer's orders.
Combat Squad Leader Staff Sergeant Lead your squad to victory. Follow the Commanders orders.
Combat Squad Specialist Sergeant Provide support with your specialised weaponry.
Combat Squad Medic Corporal Keep your squad alive. Provide Triage.
Combat Squad Engineer Corporal Provide engineering support to your squad as needed.
Combat Squad Marine Private/Private First Class Do as you're told.
Civilian Chief Medical Officer Civilian Lead the Medical and Research Department. Keep the marines alive.
Civilian Doctor Civilian Keep the Marines alive and Healthy.
Civilian Researcher Civilian Use science to assist the marines. Try not to blow up the ship.
Civilian Corporate Liaison Civilian Report everything to W-Y command, constantly monitor and scrutinize the commanders actions..
