Central Intelligence Agency

The Central Intelligence Agency is a civilian agency of the United States of America responsible for intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination. Intelligence gathering is split between two sources, Human Intelligence (HUMINT) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). The CIAs operational scope is focused on Foreign Affairs; Peers, minor powers, and groups related to conflicts, or potential conflicts that could affect United Americas Interests.

The majority of the CIAs operations are used to inform decision and policy making, but the CIA also operates covert and tactical departments for critical intelligence gathering or direct action. As such the CIA staffs specially trained agents for these roles.
