Pizza Galaxy

Pizza Galaxy! To infinity and beyond! Hello valued customer, would you like some pizza? Of course you would, everyone loves pizza! Here at Pizza Galaxy we ensure the best service you can get (because we're the only service out here).

Overview

Pizza Galaxy is the galaxy's largest pizza chain, known for its incredible variety in pizzas, and pizza related products. Customers can get anything from a plain cheese pizza, to a pizza stuffed Mr. Pizza Man mascot, with ranch cups for eyes. Most Pizza Galaxy stations also have a play room for kids, called "Pizza Party". Pizza Galaxy is a big employer, from 16 year olds trying to pay off space college, to 40 year olds who just got discharged from the USCM for thinking that the MP was a "red communist". The current owner and CEO of Pizza Galaxy is Mr. James Kepplinger, a prestigious businessman with a knack for bargaining.

History

Pizza Galaxy was originally founded on May 5th, 1961, the day the first Americans made it to space. It started out as an average old pizza place, with a cosmic spin, and an old poker table in the corner, with a "Pizza Galaxy!" logo across it. Over the years, it had started to grow, with the help of founder, and then president, Lewis K. Talk. The real boom came every time America made another leap in the space race. Lewis eventually opened another shop in New York city, moving away from rural Tennessee, leaving the shop there to his son John Talk. The pizza in New York at the time was awful, and a petition to close down the pizza places was almost about to be passed, when Pizza Galaxy showed up. The cosmic spin on things, the signature poker table, and Mr. Talk's kind demeanor got him friends in high places, and eventually Pizza Galaxy was dominating the pizza business.

Many years later, long after Talk's death, Pizza Galaxy was the single largest pizza provider in the world. The year was 2020, and if the world needed anything at that time, it was pizza. Fast forward to 2120, Pizza Galaxy is booming on the stocks, though of course it was still over shadowed by The Company. Pizza Galaxy had made a contract with W-Y, providing frozen pizza pies for colonists going towards far away planets. This lucrative contract got Pizza Galaxy the funding it needed to revamp their fleet, and their sales soared.

Now the year is 2182, Pizza Galaxy, still the largest provider of pizza, but alas... something is not quite right. Although it's company policy, some managers are not nearly as kind as their CEO, and don't care about the nostalgia of the old Pizza Galaxy chain. Even now, cuts are being made in spending, to stop buying the signature Pizza Galaxy poker table that ought to sit in the corner of every pizza place.

The ingredients are the same as they've always been, I suppose a little tinkering here and there, but the best pizza you can ever get from Pizza Galaxy must be made on Earth. That is where Mr. James has the most direct influence, and his managers there all use the Secret Ingredient (a secret so well kept that not even those in the afterlife know what it could possibly be). Of course, Mr. James himself is the only man living (or dead) who knows the secret ingredient.

Blue Collar

Role Description
Pizza.png
Pizza Galaxy Intern
A regular intern. This is the employee who doesn't show up to work the next week, forgets his name tag, and always messes up your order. The rank of intern is meant to act as a gate keeper, sorting the weak from the strong. The average pay is minimum wage, and good luck trying to get tips in this position.

Cashier
A Pizza Galaxy cashier, freshly promoted from intern. These employees are less likely to mess up your order, and often interns will watch (spacetube) these employees to learn how to do their job. Cashiers generally will give you what you want, instead of ketchup and pickles when you asked for a cup of chocolate milk.

Delivery Boy
The spectacle of the show. Pizza Galaxy delivery boys (and girls) are trained pilots, whose shuttles are decked out with the latest in Faster-Than-Light travel, and navigation technology. There is a crate in every delivery shuttle containing a clown costume. This is because of the company's policy that the customers should be smiling when the delivery boy walks out of the air lock.

Waiter
Usually you will only see a waiter at a Pizza Galaxy restaurant. A waiter will almost never mess up your order, and they'll make sure to get it to you on time when it's ready. Waiters answer to the regional manager, and do not like clowns.

Cook
The cook. Don't make him angry or he'll poison you. The cooks prepare the pizzas, using age old ingredients, as well as the secret ingredient, to make their pizza the best you'll ever have. The cook answers to the regional manager, and a good cook will never use ingredients off the floor. Of course, cooks aren't always the best.

Regional Manager
The brains of the operation. The regional manager is in charge of coordinating the employees so they know what they're doing. The manager reports to high command, but otherwise has full authority over his station. Over time, managers have become less and less kind old men, and more and more aggressive young businessmen.
