Pizza Galaxy
Pizza Galaxy is a rival corporation to "The Company", specialized in the production of edible products, advanced melee weaponry, efficient cryogenic storage of perishable goods, and spaceship engines.
History
Pizza Galaxy was founded in 1989 in Oklahoma as a local pizza restaurant and delivery service. Their tag line, "Lightspeed-fast Delivery", still remains as the corporation's motto. Pizza Galaxy rapidly expanded over the years, becoming more popular and widespread than even the MercDonalds fast food corporation. When the terraformation of Luna began, Pizza Galaxy volunteered their services to provide more than enough cryogenically frozen pizza pies to last the colonists and engineers several decades, as well as expanding their retinue into the private security field. Pizza Galaxy helped keep the peace (of pizza) on Luna for many years, working with the various governments and small businesses to keep bloodshed and violence to a minimum on Luna.
When FTL travel started to come into being in 2075, Pizza Galaxy quickly partnered with Thiokol-Rockwell and Weston-Yamada to outfit their delivery shuttles with FTL drives, ensuring that nobody in the local galactic area will ever need to worry themselves about having their pizza arrive late and, god forbid, cold.
