An outpost was established to conduct field research for mineral and ecological value. They discovered the planet contained both rich ore veins deep underground as well as extremely fertile soil samples. Preliminary excavation found highly sought after ores as well as ancient ruins. This prompted the deployment of an archeology/excavation team. Unbeknownst to them, one of the artifacts was an xenomorph egg. | |||
